Armagnac grapes

The four varieties of Armagnac grapes grown on the five hectares of Domaine du Cardinat devoted to the production of Armagnac are:

• - Folle Blanche which accounts for 40% by area
• - Baco 22a which accounts for 40% by area
• - Colombard which accounts for 10% by area
• - Ugni Blanc which accounts for 10% by area

The vines at Domaine du Cardinat were planted in 1939 by Camille Lalanne and more than seventy years later, they are maintained with the same simplicity and the same care they enjoyed when they were planted.
